Fabric Care

Vacuum your sofa once a week to free it from dust.

Turn over any loose cushions periodically. This will allow even distribution of wear and rub over a period of time.

For light stains and spills, blot them out gently with a damp cloth. Work from the outside of the stain.

Don't use water on velvet and natural fabrics. They require dry cleaning liquid. Ask the retail team for our Fabric Cleaner if you need any recommendation.

Dry clean all slipcovers.

If you discover any loose threads, don't pull. Cut them neatly at the base with a pair of scissors.
Wood Care

Dust with a soft cloth along the grain pattern of the wood.

Before dusting, moisten the cloth lightly with spray products (see our showroom if you need any recommendation). A dry cloth can leave hairline scratches on the finishing of the furniture.

Use coasters to prevent spills, stains and damage from hot dishes.

Keep solvent such as alcohol, nail polish and polish remover away from the furniture.

For scratches and nicks, fill the scratch with shoe polish that matches the colour of the wood, with a cotton bud or painting brush.

For rings, marks, paints, polish, or cosmetics stains on wood finishes, ask the showroom for the Furniture Stain Remover Cloth or Wood Furniture Cleaner. Simply rub with a cloth with the grain of the wood until the spots disappear, then simply wipe off.
